In this version of nuru the roles are clear: the masseuse decides on the pace and sequence of the massage. You can stop planning and simply yield. The fact that you do not know what the next movement will be can sharpen your senses more than anything else.

Elements of the session

• a blindfold, so every touch comes as a surprise
• soft, symbolic immobilisation of your hands
• calm, firm commands
• contrasts in pace: from very slow movements to deliberate ones

Boundaries first

Before the session, you discuss what is okay and what is not, and you agree on a word that stops the massage at any time. Taking the lead applies to the pace and the course of the massage. It is a game of the senses based on trust - without pain and without anything you have not agreed to.
